In the closing of his Muis Lecture on “Faith, Compassion and Human Dignity”, Shaykh Abdallah Bin Bayyah prayed that Singapore be blessed with tranquillity (Sakinah) and peace; that Singapore is kept safe from wars, hatred and fights; and that all of humanity will we blessed with mercy from the depth of their hearts.

On the importance of tranquility (Sakinah), His Eminence Shaykh Bin Bayyah alluded to six verses in the Qur’an that mentioned Sakinah. He invited everyone regardless of one’s belief, to reflect upon these profound verses that call to tranquility; and to cultivate awareness of the Divine.
