His Excellency Shaykh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the UAE Council for Religious Affairs, met with the Pakistani Minister of Religious Affairs, Nur Al-Haq Qadri.

The meeting was an opportunity to consult with one another about the state of the Umma, the challenges it faces, and how to coordinate working on these challenges. He stressed the importance and centrality of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the readiness of the Emirati Fatwa Council and the Forum for the Promotion of Peace in Muslim Societies to cooperate in educational training, intellectual activities and seminars in order to facilitate moderation and affirm the correct understanding that the true message of our religion is one of mercy.

The Pakistani Minister of Religious Affairs, Nur al-Haq Qadri, expressed his appreciation for the important role played by His Excellency the President of the Emirati Fatwa Council in promoting moderation, correcting concepts, and spreading the values of tolerance.
