The conferences advocated compassion and spreading peace and goodness to mankind while also combating injustice, oppression and\u00a0the blood-shedding of vulnerable and oppressed on the Earth. It was an alliance for virtue and a pact for graciousness.<\/p>\n<p>The two invitations were from the two famous Vienna-based institutions:\u00a0the first was from the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaiciid.org\/en\/the-centre\/\">KAICIID<\/a> ) and the second was from <a href=\"http:\/\/religionsforpeaceaustralia.org.au\/index.php\">Religions for Peace<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Professor bin Bayyah\u2019s focus during his trip was on the importance of justice as a path to making and obtaining peace.\u00a0He said in his lectures: \u2018There is no peace without justice and no justice without peace\u2019;, but he also called the priority of peace over the priority of revenge and reminded those present that the defense of the right is right, but the search for peace is also right.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shaykh Abdullah bin Bayyah participated in several conferences in Vienna, Austria in November from the 20th to the 26th 2013, which served on the whole as a dialogue between followers of divine religions and world cultures with the aim of achieving greater understanding and co-existence.
